Level 2 Containment Facility

 

SLCU is equipped with a Level 2 Containment Laboratory and a Level 2 Containment controlled environment room (CER) to carry out research using licenced plant-pathogenic microorganisms.

The Level 2 Containment lab is equipped with growth cabinets, a microbiological safety cabinet, a fluorescence dissecting microscope and an inverted light microscope to cultivate, propagate and inspect microorganisms.
