The Gatsby Plant Science Summer School 2014

The Gatsby Plant Science Summer School 2014

Registration for the 2014 Summer School is now closed

The 2014 Gatsby Plant Science Summer School will take place at The Hawkhills confernce centre in Easingwold, north of York, between Sunday 29 June and  Friday 4 July.

This fully-funded residential school is open to 80 high achieving undergraduate students, selected by the Gatsby mentor in their institution (listed below).

The summer school is a unique opportunity for first year (or second year in Scotland) students to discover the challenge and opportunities of studying plant science, through talks from leading scientists, careers sessions, eye-opening practicals and thought-provoking discussions with researchers and peers.

The Gatsby Plant Science Summer School was established by the University of Leeds in 2005 and this year joins its sister project Science and Plants for Schools (SAPS), which is based at the University of Cambridge.
