We have reserved a limited number of single en-suite bed and breakfast rooms for the nights of 4th and 5th April at Downing College Cambridge.  Downing College sits amidst 20 acres of lawns and trees, yet it is within half a mile of the historic centre of Cambridge. The buildings date back to the beginning of the 19th century and are predominantly neo-classical in style conveying a sense of elegance and spaciousness.

Room information

  • single en-suite bedroom with shower
  • bedding, towels and complimentary soap/shampoo/shower gel provided
  • free wifi
  • tea and coffee making facilities in each room
  • English breakfast is included and available from the self-service cafeteria in the College Hall  from 8:00-9:00

Check out by 09:30

On arrival, please go to the Porters' Lodge where you will be given a key, directions to your room and a college map.
Despite the term “Porters”, it is not part of a College Porter’s duties to handle luggage. You must carry your own luggage to your room.

Please vacate your room and return the keys to the Porters' Lodge on the day of departure by 9:30 to enable the rooms to be serviced for incoming guests. Downing College is not able to offer luggage storage on departure.
