
Cambridge University Herbarium (CGE) and Cory and Herbarium Libraries
The Cambridge University Herbarium (CGE) and Cory and Herbarium Libraries are both located within the Sainsbury Laboratory building within the Cambridge University Botanic Garden.
Visiting the Cory and Herbarium Libraries
The Libraries are open to members of the Department of Plant Sciences, the Cambridge University Botanic Garden and Sainsbury Laboratory to visit. If this is your first time visiting the Cory and Herbarium Libraries, please get in touch with the Libraries manager via email at cory@lib.cam.ac.uk so they can introduce you to how to access the space and collections and approve you as a Registered User
Once you have contacted the Libraries manager via email at cory@lib.cam.ac.uk and been approved to visit the Libraries, please fill in the Visitor Registration Form ahead of each visit to let us know when you are arriving. The Sainbury Laboratory Reception Team will have a Visitor Pass and Access Card ready for your arrival.
Non-Department members can access the Libraries by prior appointment only. Please email cory@lib.cam.ac.uk to book a visit.
Visiting the Cambridge University Herbarium (GCE)
The University Herbarium (CGE) is not currently open to visitors. For further information contact herbarium@plantsci.cam.ac.uk.
Once you have contacted the Herbarium via email at herbarium@plantsci.cam.ac.uk and been approved to visit the Herbarium, please fill in the Visitor Registration Form ahead of each visit to let us know when you are arriving. .
