EMBO conference on interdisciplinary plant development

The Sainsbury Laboratory welcomed over 100 delegates from 19 countries to the EMBO Conference on Interdisciplinary Plant Development. Sessions focussed on:

• Physical forces, the cell wall and development
• Self-organising tissue systems
• Self-organising cell systems
• Comparative approaches and
• Network behaviours

This event marked SLCU's continued efforts to promote collaborative, interdisciplinary research in developmental biology. The conference is part of a planned series of EMBO Plant Molecular Biology conferences.
