Climate change is intensifying extreme events that threaten global food security. My research investigates the molecular, cellular, tissue, and organismal mechanisms that shape plant growth and development in changing environments.
By uncovering these underlying processes, I aim to identify organizing principles that govern growth dynamics across biological scales. This hypothesis-driven, multi-scale approach advances both fundamental discovery and the translation of knowledge to crops, with relevance to agriculture and climate resilience.
