About
I am interested in understanding the cellular patterning, quantifying and modelling how they are emerging during development and what factors are regulating them, in order to find the role of the cell organization in the realization of the tissue function.
As a biologist by training, I have developed computational expertise during my research experiences by analyzing tissue organization at the cell level with image analysis and modelling methods.
I have a bachelor degree in biology and a masters in cellular systems biology. For my PhD I studied the cellular organization of the Arabidopsis thaliana embryo. During my previous postdoc I worked on the spatial organization of cells in epithelia.
In the group of Sarah Robinson at the Sainsbury Laboratory, I am studying the relation between plant cell wall stiffness and cellular growth with modelling and image analysis methods.
