About
I am deeply fascinated by how plants integrate hormonal signals to control developmental plasticity under dynamic environments, particularly under the challenges of rapid global climate change. Abscisic acid (ABA) plays a central role in coordinating plant development and abiotic stress adaptation. In the Jones group, I will use the ABACUS biosensor to investigate ABA dynamics under drought stress and applying genetic tools for precise, cell-type-specific manipulation of ABA. My long-term goal is to reprogram plant developmental responses to enhance drought resilience, with the potential to extend these strategies to crop improvement.
