Visit the Sainsbury Laboratory

The Sainsbury Laboratory is a plant science research department of the University of Cambridge located within the grounds of the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. We conduct fundamental research to understand the regulatory systems that control plant growth and development.

We warmly invite you to join us as part of Open Cambridge 2025 for a tour of our award-winning building. Staff will guide you through the thinking behind the building's design and introduce you to the scientific research that we are working on.
