Research Interests

My research is focused on exploring how auxin regulates the initiation of leaf formation and in particular how leaf venation patterns emerge. I explore the regulation of auxin signal transduction using computational models and simulations to uncover mechanisms that are not immediately obvious by human logic alone.

Previously, my PhD research involved studying the gene regulatory network underlying mesoderm and endoderm formation in amphibians using mathematical models.
